Associates Programme
The Institute of Things to Come conducts a eight-months Associates Programme, offering six participants to develop their practice and contribute to the public programme in concert with the yearly theme. Free to attend and non-accredited the Associates Programme consists of three modules led by international artists in collaboration with another guest, an artist or a field professional. A fourth module is organized in collaboration with the associates. Moreover in December the associates are invited to attend a one-day public program of lectures and performances at Grazer Kunstverein, Graz, developed in collaboration with Director Kate Strain.
The Associates
Associates are emerging practitioners who are seeking a critical and educative environment that fits their own research and artistic concerns. The participation is open to italian and international artists,
researchers, curators and writers working specifically in the arts (performance, music, cinema, theatre, dance, etc), from 18+. Candidates must have a working knowledge of English (the workshop will be lead in English language).
At the end of Programme, in May, the six Associates are asked to organize a public event (exhibition or public program, etc) at Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo. The event is supported by Formech Inspire that provides a production bursary of 500 euro for each participant. The attendance of – at least – 80% of programme activities is required. The programme is completely free (no fee must be paid).
